On Monday, December 12th, 2016, Brandon University acquired local historical site, the former Strand Theatre property. The Strand Theatre is located on the 100-block of 10th Street in Brandon’s downtown district, and BU took possession of the property deed from Landmark Cinemas for the price of $1.00 CAD.
