The Brandon Bobcats had some legendary moments this past weekend as veteran champions came back to the University for Brandon’s Homecoming weekend. Some of the Alumni were here to play the annual basketball game while others came out for the activities and ceremonies.
The ceremonies included the induction of several athletes into the Wall Of Fame. Seven new members were inducted into the Dick and Verda McDonald Sports Wall of Fame in front of a crowd of 200 people. The vast number of inductees and audience only shows off Brandon Universities proud athletic community.
Those inducted into the Wall Of Fame include: Mike McEwen, Keith Vassell, Shawn Gray, Kerry Hayhurst, Allan Robertson, Glennis Scott and Alan Murdoch. The Alumni basketball game was played on Friday, followed by the Bobcats of today who played against the Regina Cougars. Pictures of the Alumni game have been posted on the Bobcats Facebook page.
