It was another full weekend for the Bobcats! Games were played by the Bobcats soccer, basketball, and volleyball teams.
The women’s basketball team was away in Alberta, facing off against the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns. With games on both Friday, October 27th and Saturday, October 28th, the ladies were raring to go. Unfortunately, in spite of the winning Bobcat attitude, the game on Friday was a loss, with a score of 84-58 in favour of the Pronghorns. Saturday’s game was much fiercer, and the Bobcats gave it their all. Although it was a very close game, the outcome was not desired: another loss for our lady Bobcats, with a score of 87-82 in favour of the Pronghorns again. The women’s basketball team next plays at home on Friday, November 3rd and Saturday, November 4th against the University of Victoria Vikes at 6:00PM on Friday and 5:00PM on Saturday.
The men’s basketball team also went to Alberta to face off against the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns on Friday, October 27th and Saturday, October 28th. The men next play on Friday, November 3rd and Saturday, November 4th at home against the University of Victoria Vikes, beginning at 8:00PM on Friday and 7:00PM on Saturday.
