Brandon’s Enactus club has been bustling with activity this month. Here’s a look at what these students have been up to. From March 1st - 4th, 16 students took a trip to Calgary to compete in the Western Canada ENACTUS Regionals, competing against other post-secondary institutions from across the western provinces. Categories included the Capital One Youth Empowerment Challenge, the TD Entrepreneurship Challenge, and two others. This year Enactus Brandon walked away with the Runner Up award from the Scotiabank EcoLiving Green Challenge.
Currently, Enactus students are offering a tax filing service to students for free. This is taking place in Clark Hall 407, and is on a walk-in basis. The current schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:30am until 3:30pm until the end of Exams, although this may be subject to change. There are a few stipulations regarding who may take advantage of this service, so check in with the student(s) on duty to see if they can complete your request.
Coming up on Friday March 24th is the Enactus Graffiti Social. Taking place at the Park Community Centre from 10:00pm until 2:00am, party-goers are encouraged to wear a white t-shirt that they don’t mind getting signed with markers. Markers will be provided for the purpose of signing your friend’s shirts. Tickets are $10, and can be purchased from Enactus Members before-hand, as well as at the door on the night of the event.
